La piedra y el metal son dos seres inanimados escondidos juntos en la tierra.
Un día, las piedras robaron los vestidos de los que por algún tiempo estuvieron vivos. El cobre y el estaño fueron separados de sus piedras y condenados a estar juntos en el bronce.
Un día, yo tomé este bronce. Como si fuera yo una abeja y él la cera. Como si fuera yo cincel, o martillo, o lija... Como si fuera yo viento detenido en la dureza opaca de las piedras. Un día quise hacerle yo al bronce, un vestido que tomase su forma, y así juntarlo de nuevo con su piedra.
Stone and metal are two inanimate beings hidden together in the earth. One day, stones stole the dresses of those who for some time were alive. Copper and tin were separated from their stones and condemned to be together in the bronze.
One day, I took this bronze. As if I were a bee and it was my wax. As if I were a chisel, or a hammer, or a sandpaper... As if I were wind detained in the dull hardness of stones. One day I wanted to make bronze, a dress that took its shape, and so put it back together with its stone.
